Introducing “Theme Explorer V1”: A Thematic Art Generator

“Brave New World Cartoon”

Generated using Theme Explorer V1

Imagine being able to create stunning images with just a few words. Images that capture your vision, your style, and your imagination. Images that you can use for your personal or professional projects, without worrying about copyright or licensing.
That’s what our image generation tool can do for you. It’s not just another image generator. It’s a powerful and versatile tool that uses state-of-the-art artificial intelligence to transform your text, no matter how limited in detail, into beautiful artworks.
In this article, we will discuss the tool and showcase some examples.

How Does it Work?

We wanted to minimise the amount of time spent thinking about what to create by simply asking the user for a theme. From there, our model will explore the different possible artistic images that encapsulate that theme.
It is built on the latest AI tools: DALL-E 3 and GPT 4 both of which are immensely powerful and expensive to use at a large-scale which is why we have limited generation to samples at the moment. This will give us the opportunity to gauge interest and performance while training our model further.
Aside from the main tools, it implements context loading, automated data processing, parameterisation and more. An extensive whitepaper on the tool is available on our website for more specific details about it.

Some Examples

“Psychedelic Dreams and Mangos” and Temperature = 60 (TEV1 Only)

Note: “TEV1” refers to Theme Explorer V1

“Psychedelic Dreams and Mangos” — Comparison 1

For the first example, I thought of a random prompt a user might think of. Maybe not but it was limited enough to test the power of our model.
DALL-E 3 is the latest that OpenAI has to offer when it comes to image generation but it still pales in comparison to a model that has been fine-tuned in addition to prompt engineered descriptions of the Theme Explorer V1.
Both images were actually created using DALL-E 3 but the Theme Explorer V1 is able to assess the input theme and come up with a more coherently artistic image.

“Love and War” and Temperature = 40 (TEV1 Only)

“Love and War” — Comparison 2

Let us ignore the racial biases for a moment, the DALL-E 3 version of the theme is incredibly literal showing a soldier and his partner with symbols of war in the background.
Whereas, the Theme Explorer V1 version done exactly what the name says, it explored the theme of “love and war”. You can see a heart with all sorts of flowers sprouting from it being penetrated by a sword.
This is a lot more interesting way to visually depict the theme. That is a main feature of the image generator, you get a lot with a little!

What You Can Use it For?

Stock Image Generation

Say goodbye to generic stock photos that don’t quite capture the essence of your project. With Theme Explorer V1, you can generate unique, theme-specific images for your website, blog, or marketing materials without heavy prompting.

Social Media Content

Stand out on social media with images that tell a story. Use Theme Explorer V1 to generate engaging visuals for your Instagram posts, Facebook ads, or YouTube thumbnails. Express your creativity and attract more attention in the crowded world of social media.
This is something we have been using the beta of the version of the tool for and it has worked wonders when it comes to generating traffic using eye-catching visuals.

Book and Album Covers

Make your book or album stand out with a cover that perfectly captures its essence. Generate theme-specific images that resonate with the mood and tone of your literary work or musical creation.
We have used the tool in the past to draft album artwork ideas for clients and even used it to create a whole art album. An art collection called “CARNAGE” is the most recent example and you can view the collection here.
