HOW IT WAS MADE

THE TOOLS

  • Theme Explorer V1 - Asycd’s proprietary image generation software, Theme Explorer V1, combines the power of prompt engineering and context loading to create thematic images. In this captivating collection, we explored themes such as ‘90s cartoon’, ‘love’, and ‘abstract oil painting’.

  • CLIP Interrogator 2 by fffiloni - This innovative prompt engineering tool performs reverse image searches on artworks, generating descriptive content. We harnessed its capabilities to create unique images inspired by various sources.

  • Photo / Video Editing Tools - Our creative process involved an array of photo editing tools. We leveraged Photoshop for significant alterations and enhancements, Canva for thoughtful composition and elemental graphic design, and CapCut for dynamic video animations of our mesmerizing artworks.

THE INSPIRATION

The founder of Asycd’s thoughts on “VALENHEARTS”:

“I really didn’t have a particular theme or aesthetic I was trying to capture. I wanted a collection that was not too deliberate in showcasing some of the common ideas or themes surrounding the day of love. If anything, illustrating a more diverse and unorthodox set of ideas was the goal.

Take ‘MONOGAMOUS’ for example, the imagery of a couple wearing paper bags over their heads emphasizes the fact they don’t care for the outside world to know who they are. They are outcasts but still entrenched in love despite not being able to physically see each other.”

Airhead’s thoughts on “VALENHEARTS”

“Kirby embodies pure love, and Jigglypuff shares that same endearing quality. As one of the most iconic cartoon characters, Jigglypuff is impossible to dislike.”

TP’s thoughts on “VALENHEARTS”

“The juxtaposition of the Gameboy device with SpongeBob playfully interacting with a heart creates a delightful synergy. It’s as if nostalgia and whimsy converge in this captivating piece, leaving us with an inexplicable sense of joy.”
