Pixels to Paint: How Asycd Used AI to Revolutionize Art in 2023

The inaugural year of Asycd has been a remarkable journey of artistic and technological evolution. From our initial foray into sharing AI-generated images on Instagram to achieving the coveted 1st rank on Google for our innovative creations, we have redefined the intersection of art and artificial intelligence. Asycd has matured from a mere concept into a concrete brand that epitomizes creativity and innovation.
In this article, we will revisit the pivotal moments that shaped our year and unveil our aspirations for 2024.

Getting Started with Image Generation (January — March)

Our year began by experimenting with different prompts and styles to produce AI-generated art, which we shared on our Instagram account on a daily basis for about two months. This period was mainly focused on developing a deep understanding of generative AI and its artistic potential. However, there were some notable events that stood out.
The first was a mini-collection with a Valentine’s theme, featuring images that expressed various emotions and scenarios related to love and romance. The staple image was “Alone on Valentine’s”, which depicted a lonely figure in a dark room, surrounded by roses and candles. We think this is one of our best artworks, as it captures the contrast between the festive mood and the personal isolation.
The second was the “Think Computer”. This was another creation that showcased our ability to hone in on a specific style and build an interesting idea around it.
The image portrayed a computer monitor with a human brain inside, suggesting a connection between technology and creativity. The image also had a retro-futuristic vibe, reminiscent of the early days of computing. We wanted to convey the message that AI is not only a tool, but also a source of inspiration and expression.

Our First ai-Art Collection (March — April)

In March, we decided to release our first AI-inspired art collection called “pure souls”. This collection was a result of our collaboration with AI as a creative partner, using it to generate abstract images that evoke purity and creativity. We also used AI to come up with ideas for marketing, such as the album cover and the captions for each piece.
This collection was definitely a major highlight of Asycd’s work this year, as it showcased our innovative approach to AI-generated art and our vision for the future of art. It also led to the eventual idea of creating a streamlined canvas printing service, which we will discuss in the next section.

Our First Website (June)

In June of 2023, we launched our first website for Asycd, a simple but slick, one-page website that showcased our work and vision. The website was the home of our articles and art at the time, featuring our latest AI-generated creations and insights. We also included a brief introduction of ourselves and our mission, as well as links to our social media accounts and contact information.

New Look and Perspectives (August — September)

This period was filled with vast amounts of change on various levels.
The first obvious change was the fresh and new logo we started using to brandish our articles and art with. It is now a symbol of Asycd and we hope it will stick around for a long time.
The next change was the change in the direction and the purpose of Asycd. We realized that we could be more than just a showcase of AI-generated art. We could be an example of the power of AI through our content and services. We have a mission and our clients have a mission that AI can help achieve. What Asycd is still up in the air till this day, but we are constantly evolving and exploring new possibilities.
Along with the new vision, was a new brand of content in the form of more storied articles also generated using AI. These articles were not only informative, but also engaging and entertaining, using AI to create narratives and characters that relate to our topics. The article “Unveiling the Effects of Reels and TikTok” was a relatable piece about the plague that is short form content.

Our Second ai-Art Collection + New Software (October — November)

The “Theme Explorer V1” was available to sample in November which was actually used to create some of the artworks for the “CARNAGE” collection which released on October 31st.
The software was a tool used to aid in image prompting by allowing a user to input a theme and receive image generation prompts. Focused on thematic descriptions, it allows the user explore an input theme using endless art styles and ideas.
“CARNAGE” was Asycd’s second art ai-art collection made with the purpose of showcasing the level of AI proficiency Asycd had garnered in just a year.

More in 2024?

We want to do more with less leveraging the latest developments in AI and technology in general to make this happen.

More “always something you can do”

“always something you can do” — Our slogan/acronym will become a main feature of our branding, content and marketing.
Specifically, expect articles to have a certain flair and aesthetic to them that is characteristically acute to what Asycd is about. “Unveiling the Effects of Reels and TikTok” was an example of Asycd’s interest in more social matters and using AI to improve outreach. We want to create more content of this nature.

More Art

Art has been the medium for showcasing Asycd, telling stories and more. This will not change in 2024 and in fact, you can expect more art! Not just images but art. The difference between “art” and just “images” is stark so expect a lower quantity but much higher quality.
Canvas printing is also something that we will do more for customers interested in getting custom art décor.

More Tools

We want to build more proprietary software to aid in content creation. Here are some tools we are currently working on and are expected to be finished in 2024:
  • An article generator chatbot that can write high-quality and original articles trained on our previous articles and documents. This chatbot will help us generate content faster and easier, as well as provide us with new ideas and perspectives.
  • The “Asycd” assistant that can give us more tailored and personalized responses using ChatGPT4. This assistant will be trained on our old documents and data, so it can understand our brand, style, and preferences better. It will also be able to answer questions and provide feedback on our content.
  • The completed canvas printing software that can turn any image into a beautiful canvas print. This software will allow us to offer canvas printing services for customers who want to have custom art decor. It will also enable us to create and print our own art using image generation techniques.
Automation is also going to be a key research area for Asycd in 2024. Automation mixed with generative AI capabilities we believe will lead to endless content possibilities. We will use automation and AI to streamline our workflows, optimize our performance, and enhance our creativity.

Thank You

I would just like to thank anyone who has viewed our content, collaborated with us on a project, and more. Despite the nature of our business, we are people-focused and we try to make our content and solutions with this in mind.
We hope you enjoyed reading this article and learning more about Asycd and our journey. We look forward to seeing you again in 2024! 🙌
